1. Ownership
Ashfall: A Dark Fantasy Deckbuilder (the “Game”) — including its source code, game design, mechanics, artwork, characters, enemies, cards, reliques, world, lore, story text, names, logos, music arrangements, voiceover, sound design, and user interface — is an original work owned by Ashfall or its licensors. It is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws worldwide.
The “Ashfall” name, the Ashfall rune emblem, and the “A Dark Fantasy Deckbuilder” tagline are trademarks of Ashfall. No franchise or third-party fictional setting is used in the Game; all characters, places, and lore are original.
2. Third-Party Assets
The Game incorporates the following third-party assets under their respective free licenses:
- Fonts — Cinzel and Lora, from Google Fonts, used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
- Sound effects — sourced from Kenney audio packs and OpenGameArt, released under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 license (attribution voluntary).
- Music — CC0-licensed tracks from OpenGameArt, in part edited and re-arranged for the Game.
Portions of the Game's artwork and voiceover were produced with the assistance of generative tools and subsequently curated, edited, and integrated by us; the resulting compiled asset set, as it appears in the Game, is part of the Game and subject to this notice.
3. What You May Do (Fan Content)
You are welcome, without asking permission, to:
- capture and publish screenshots and gameplay videos of the Game, including on ad-supported platforms such as YouTube or Twitch;
- create fan art, streams, reviews, and guides about the Game;
provided that you credit the Game (“Ashfall”), do not present your content as official or endorsed by us, do not sell Game assets themselves, and do not use the Game's name or emblem in a way that suggests affiliation.
4. What You May Not Do
- Extract, rip, redistribute, or sell the Game's assets (art, music, voice, text, code) as standalone files or asset packs.
- Use the Game's assets, name, or emblem in another game, product, or service without our written permission.
- Claim authorship of the Game or any of its original content.
5. Infringement Claims
If you believe any content in the Game infringes your copyright, contact us through the official Ashfall Discord with a description of the work, the material in question, and your contact details. We take such claims seriously and will respond promptly.
6. Relation to the Terms of Use
This notice is part of, and should be read together with, the Terms of Use. By playing the Game you agree to both.
